The best thing about The Blacksmiths Arms is the people - the owners and staff but also the locals in the bar with whom we had a great chat over the evening we stayed. Only downsides were the noise of the cooler (I presume) during the night and being woken up at 4am by the noise of people talking. Loved the owl I heard though! - Ms Jill P N
Stayed overnight, whilst cycling coast to coast route 72.Warm welcome, allowing us to park and charge bikes in their garage. Comfy beds, fabulous power shower, great evening meal and breakfast. Thanks to everyone at the Blacksmiths Arms. - P
We arrived at the hotel to be greeted by a Beautiful peacock in the exterior.Once inside we checked in the staff were very welcoming and friendly. We then saw our room. The room had everything you need. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was clean & tidy with hot water. We then had a roast dinner as it was Sunday & had the best roast ever.Great stay 5 stars. If we are ever coming this way again ,we will definitely return. - M
